The journey started in 2018 with a bunch of Chittagonian families meeting together and discussing to bring our cultures in Western Australia. The idea floated for a while and then started rolling again with many meetings and discussions. We have over 60 Chittagonian families in Western Australia mainly living in Perth. All the families came together to create a unique bond to bring and introduce our culture abroad. We have planned for the biggest Bangladeshi event in Perth for the first time. Our association has been brought to light through this huge event, Mejban. This was a free event and we have over 1200 guests enjoyed the unique mejbaani khana. This was a great successful event for our organisation. The plan is to have this event once a year.
